Photos: Police Allegedly Shoots Young Contractor Dead In Festac

Oyoma Edewor, a 33 year old building contractor was allegedly shot dead Saturday evening in Festac town by a police officer identified as Sgt. Otene.
Oyoma left his Festac home for Lekki when his car suddenly developed a fault. Sad about the incident, Oyoma decided to get a towing vehicle so that his Jeep won’t be parked on the road and could be towed back home.
As soon as they got to Festac second junction, a police team sighted them and went after them with a motor bike. They allegedly dragged Oyoma down from his jeep and demanded he give them a bribe. According to witnesses as he was about explaining his ordeal, Sgt. Otene who was said to be drunk at that time shot Oyoma at close range.
Reports say Sgt. Otene has been arrested, but they fear little or nothing will be done about the incident, because this is the third time similar cases have been reported at the same police station.see photo after cut...
