Another incident involving an armed gang against one person ended in tragedy four days ago outside a nightclub in Fujian province,China

Ambe Georges, as identified by his friends, was seen fleeing outside of a nightclub near Fuzhou’s Yuefang Building around 4:00 a.m. on June 16th, followed by an armed gang who chased him down and stabbed him to death.

According to a witness report on Xinhua, the gang had dispersed by the time police showed up.

Twenty-five-year-old Ambe Georges was a local performer around Fuzhou who was also known by his stage name, "The One". Friends who spoke with Shanghaiist described him as loving and easygoing.

The piece of news comes at a time where the frequency of knife stabbings around China has become alarming not only in number but also for the trivial reasons which incite the bloody attacks.

The case evokes existing speculation regarding attacks on foreigners, which, in some cases, have gone under the radar or gone widely unreported.

A stabbing in Beijing last July allegedly left a foreign citizen dead, while a German man in Shanghai was murdered in December over a supposed affair. In May’s Guangzhou stabbings a witness saw a foreigner stabbed in the attack, although Guangzhou police denies the claim.

Attacks-turned-homicide over relatively insignificant matters call into question whether enough is being done to aid China’s mentally unstable, while resurfacing the familiar themes of safety and corruption.

George, as known by his friends in Fuzhou, left behind a wife and two young children. Donation efforts are being coordinated via a WeChat group in aid of his wife.

On June 14, the Alla's family was in a great sorrow! She lost her beloved husband and father of their two daughters: Christina and Alice. George was bright and very talented man, outstanding and extraordinary person. Many of us knew him as a singer and MC The One. He was a loving tender father, husband and a trusted friend. He worked hard for his family and constantly helped his parents, who live in Africa, in Cameroon. Thank you all for your warm words of support and desire to help Alla and her girls. We all know that money can not relieve the pain of loss. But at least it's a small help for girls in this painful, difficult situation.=
