Police Nabs Pentecostal Church General Overseer For Swindling Job Seeker In Enugu

The Founder/General Overseer of Believers Evangelical Prayer Ministry, Amankwor Town in Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State, Pastor Goodness Idudu is currently in police custody following his alleged involvement in employment scam.
In a statement issued by the spokesman of the Enugu State Police Command, Ebere Amaraizu and made available to DailyPoThe Founder/General Overseer of Believers Evangelical Prayer Ministry, Amankwor Town in Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State, Pastor Goodness Idudu is currently in police custody following his alleged involvement in employment scams; the DSP confirmed the arrest.
According to the statement, the suspect was nabbed for allegedly "swindling one Bridget Chiagha Adugo of Neke Oghe, also in Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State, the sum of sixty thousand naira.
"The general overseer had promised the victim an entrance into the Nigeria Customs Service and went ahead to issue her with a suspected fake Nigeria Customs Service Recruitment Form".
The statement added that when the victim suspected foul play, she contacted the operatives of the Ezeagu Division of the Nigeria Police who swung into action.
"In an attempt to collect extra fifty thousand naira from the victim, the general overseer was nabbed.
"Investigations are in top gear as the general overseer is now begging for forgiveness", Amaraizu further disclosed.
