Sambo Visits Site of Abuja Blast, Condoles with Victims

Vice President Namadi Sambo has condoled with the victims of the bomb explosion that occurred yesterday at EMAB Plaza, Wuse II, Abuja. 
The Vice President expressed his sympathy this morning while visiting the site of the blast. He said: "I want to use this opportunity to extend our condolences to the families of those who have lost their lives and our sympathy to those that are injured, both here, in Kano, and all other parts of Nigeria." 
He assured that the administration would do all it can to defeat terrorism in the shortest possible time. "I want to assure all Nigerians that the government is doing everything to ensure the safety of lives and properties," he said.
The Vice President was accompanied to the site by the Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senator Bala Mohammed, the Minister of State for FCT, Mrs Olajumoke Akinjide, the Minister of State for Defence, Ambassador Musliu Obanikoro, among others.
