Taking photos With Tiger Banned In New York

It will soon be illegal to pose for pictures with tigers in New York.
Lawmakers in both houses have passed a bill that prohibits people from posing for photos while hugging, patting or otherwise touching tigers.
Manhattan Assemblywoman Linda Rosenthal said that she introduced the legislation to increase security at circuses and county fairs where the public is allowed to get up close and personal with tigers.
The law however, still allows taking photos with bears. Rosenthal said that the legislation was necessary because there have been seven cases in fifteen years in which tigers escaped or hurt people of the state.
Those who are caught ignoring the law will face fines of up to $500.
