“Mellinium African Awards MAAwards “would honour artists, individuals
and corporate entities who have contributed to the entertainment
growth, development and unity from 2000 to date.
The award will be a medium to appreciate and celebrate individuals,
organizations and nations that has distinguished themselves and shown
visible and appreciable support for the growth and development of
African and Nigerian culture. There shall be scholarships awards and
Chairs inaugurated to give recognition to scholars and educational
institutions that uniquely promote and develop research and study of
African culture. Special sessions, will be given to a prominent guest
speaker, who must be a visible promoter and achiever on African
culture to give a speech.
Objectives
To promote the African heritage, values and ethics so as to build a
connect across Nigeria’s geo-political zones.
To exemplify the intellectual and physical beauty of the entertainment
industry in Africa.
To glorify and crest the efforts of our living and dead heroes and
entertainment ambassadors; also promoting their ideals to the world.
To showcase/exhibit our indigenous organizations and business outfits
which promote the entertainment industry.
To build a new regime of moral brand ambassadors, through both
physical and moral traits, for products, public enlightenment and
promotion of national ideals.
