Its been quite the talk of the town since naija music industry welcomed London popular rap act "PRINCE DOLLA", whose real name is Shitta-Bey Dolapo.
After dropping a few singles from " jembe","pop dat thing " and a lot of other collabo, prince dolla has decided to come back to the roots (Naija) to spice up the music industry.
The journey for him started way back in 2009 at the famous "YMCMB" young money cash money studio, with the likes of DJ esco. Prince dolla learned beatmaking and mastering during his times with DJ kahlid,Bangladesh after which he started out his music crew. He is also a mixing and mastering engineer,he's got credit to himself on the famous Mavin solar plexus album.
Friday 28th of October had city FM 105.1 hosting @PRINCEDOLLA on the #hhrfriday with @kshowkshow, where he discussed music plans and launching of his brand into the Nigerian music market.
The 2 hour meeting had fans of prince Dolla and lovers of Naija music tweeting in to express their love for prince dolla.
Prince dolla also talked about releasing his E.P "The Jembe" later in November, the 5 track E.P which featured a lot of acts from Naija and as well a collabo with Burna boy.
The E.P was produced by famous fast rising producer @cassino_beatz which happens to be his official producer.
He discussed shooting his "jembe" video later this weekend. His single "Many things" which was produced by casino beatz will be dropping right after the E.P drops and fans have been craving for the single to hit the airwaves.
The meeting ended with official release of his new track "yaga" which is off the jembe E.P
