Ejechi Okiemute Godwin (born August 8, 1988), popularly known as Mr Kemzy, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter and entrepreneur
Mr Kemzy is from Ughelli Town, Delta State. He was born and raised in Jos, Plateau State. He attended command secondary school Jos, and had his tertiary education at the Plateau State Polytechnic. At a young age he started collecting RnB and Hip-hop tracks, learning the lyrics and miming them. It didn’t take long before he started writing his own lyrics.
He began his musical career in 2002 where he and a few of his friends came together to form a music crew the called “Solider Boys”. After the dissolvement of the crew Mr Kemzy focused on pushing his music and the outcome lead to him releasing numerous hit singles and also a studio album.
His debut studio “Delta Boy” was released in September 2017 which houses 15 tracks and features artists such Charass, Kennykris, Gucci, and GIB and more.
In 2018 Mr Kemzy won “Best Afropop Singer” at the Jos Industry Night Awards (JIN AWARDS)
He is currently working on some couple project which aimed at skyrocketing his musical career to next level.
