Day Wale (real name) Akintade Adewale Desmond was born on May 30, hails from Ekiti State, south west part of Nigeria. His primary genres are R&b, Afro Pop and soul.
Day Wale has always had a flair for music from childhood, his passion for music made him join the church choir at age seven, and he is fond of writing poem and short stories while growing up that got him the name “Cupid” meaning “god of love” while in secondary school. and later chose Lord Cupid as a stage name before changing to Day Wale
Day Wale is made up of striking vocal and explanatory lyrics, his uniqueness in his style of writing and composing and his electrifying fusion and swap between Genres shows his musical versatility.
Day Wale is ready to release is Debut Ep, which he titled Electrifier EP, Scheduled for December 19,2021
